We decided to have a website to include other people in our journey... Our journey to a better lifestyle, better health, and financial freedom! We are hoping to gain support by friends and family who will help us by becoming accountability partners and offering encouragement. This journey has been discussed many times... NOW IS THE TIME FOR ACTION!! We hope you will join us in our journey and maybe some of you will share your journeys with us too! We are all in this together!
Robert and I have struggled with our weight a long time. I have never been a healthy weight... even as a child. Robert started his weight gain when he was in elementary school. Together we have tried over and over again to lose weight. We both even went to the extremes of weight loss surgeries. We have had some success... but, never optimal health. Our yo-yo dieting methods caused more weight gain, stress, discouragement, depression, and feelings of failure! We have both been medically called MORBIDLY OBESE!
As of August 14, 2011... WE ARE CHAMPIONS!! We have been introduced to a challenge... we won't look back... we are never gonna be the same again!
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
